Plettenberg Bay

So this week we finally have some stable time in Plettenberg Bay. This is where we are based in a small apartment called Dolphin Court which is a five minute from the beach.

Although we have arrived and kicked off our flip flops for laying on the sofa, we find ourself becoming super busy with little time for enjoying ourselves.

Busy

Busy doesn’t even cut it, I don’t know what it is about South Africa but the time seems to fly by. Even waking at 5am I blink and its almost bed time!

Back And Forth

Plettenberg Bay to Knysna is about a half hour drive, something we would often do to visit the beautiful beaches, however our last few days has resulted in this on a daily basis.

Leaving early in the morning and returning late at night.

No time to post, or get up to mischief.

Weather

Ironically today was the first day we were stable in Plett and could relax, yet the weather took a turn for the worst.

Now don’t mistake that as a moan as it is lovely that it rained and the place needs it to keep the grass green and growing, however yesterday we were in the car for most of the day and the sun was beautiful! I believe they call that sods law! Still no complaints here. It means we can just relax, but the visit to Robberg may be out of the question.

Plans

With this week nearing an end already and time flying by our Mom is celebrating her birthday on Friday and so a trip back to Knysna will be taken to enjoy a lovely meal which is booked for lunch.

The weekend truly is a time of rest and then next week we hit the activities hard.

With visits to see the monkeys at Monkeyland (something I haven’t done in almost 10 years) as well as the Birds of Eden and maybe even a walk with elephants, so watch this space people.
