New Logo Design – Creation Of The Braai Brothers

With a new site underway, and the South African Monkey theme keeping up appearances. It was only fair to continue the Monkey aspect to our travels.

Logos in this modern day and age are always so boring and plain, naturally we understand it’s the way to fame with brands such as McDonalds and Nike using a simple symbol that goes a long way however we wanted to be different.

That differentiation caused us to create something fun and truly personal to us.

For The Site

As you may well have seen a new site has been created titled The Braai Brothers, which is about two brothers Tez and Ryan who on January the 15^th will be moving to South Africa to further their adventures.

Why Monkeys?

As said before South African Monkey was all about monkeys and having a brother it was only natural to keep the theme going.

Monkey was something we were always called from a young age as if our tails were cut off at birth, this grew and years down the line someone at work called me a South African Monkey. Naturally at the time I am sure it had an alternative meaning which I wont repeat but for me it was more than just that, it was a new name that would stick for life.

The True Meaning

As you can see in the image, it is of two monkeys, who resemble Ryan and myself.

In the middle, between these two beasts is the BBQ also known as a Braai. This resembles not only the name of the blog but also the fact we love cooking and love our food.

On top of the Braai is a globe to represent the world at which we intend to travel! One paw print at a time.

The Grand Opening

So allow me to introduce you to the Braai Brothers and their new logo:

Naturally it took a few stages to design but as time goes on improvements will be made and be sure to see this plastered absolutely everywhere.

It is more than just a logo to us; it is about the connection with two brothers, and their adventures they cannot wait to attend to.

Who Is Who?

Naturally being the darker haired of the two I find myself being the one on the left whilst Ryan the lighter haired of the two being the one on the right.

It is amazing how some of the similarities come to life in the picture though as we sat back and smiled at little bits that resemble our true personalities and even some facial features.

A Complete Series

Alongside the initial logo design we have created another using a similar theme with the two Braai Brothers but this time a fun surfing slogan style.

Something that will be made into a T-Shirt No doubt!

Naturally now the foundations have been created we are able to create further models using the same style.
